Efecto del Plan Panamá Solidario sobre la seguridad alimentaria de los habitantes del Sector H, Los Andes No.2. Panamá
Abstract
El propósito del presente estudio fue evaluar el efecto del Plan Panamá Solidario
sobre la seguridad alimentaria de los habitantes en el sector H, los Andes N° 2,
Corregimiento Omar Torrijos Herrera, Distrito de San Miguelito, Panamá. Esta
investigación se enmarcó en un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo bajo la
modalidad descriptiva de carácter no experimental con diseño de campo y
documental. La población estuvo integrada por trescientas sesenta (360) familias
que se ubican en el Sector H, los Andes N° 2, Corregimiento Omar Torrijos
Herrera, Distrito de San Miguelito, Provincia de Panamá. Sobre el tipo de muestreo
se utilizó el probabilístico, este se basó en el principio de equiprobabilidad, todos
los individuos de la muestra seleccionada tendrán las mismas probabilidades de
ser elegidos. Para el cálculo del tamaño se aplicó la fórmula de poblaciones finitas
indicada por (Sampieri, 2016) en el que establece el 95 % de confianza y un error
de 5 % para el cálculo total, dando como resultado 187 familias, a los cuales se
les aplicó un cuestionario estructurado con veinte (20) ítems dicotómicos cerradas,
en alguna de ellas se solicita ampliar la respuesta, validado por dos (02) expertos,
en metodología y contenido; quienes tomaron en cuenta la coherencia, pertinencia
y claridad de los ítems. La validación se calculó a través del Índice de Validez de
Contenido (IVC), propuesto por Lawshe, aplicando la fórmula, ubicándose el
resultado dentro del rango establecido 2,45. Respecto a las conclusiones, los
beneficios del Plan Panamá Solidario relativamente no han sido equitativos ni
equilibrados, pues en los últimos nueve meses, los habitantes han consumido
menos alimentos de los que necesita el organismo, aparte que ha tenido que
modificar y dar un giro a los hábitos de consumo, debido a la situación crítica
consecuencia del COVID-19, coadyuvando esto en la identificación del ámbito de
la seguridad alimentaria de los panameños.
