Relación entre el lenguaje oral y las habilidades para la comprensión lectora, en niños de 8 y 11 años de tercero y sexto grado del Instituto Bilingüe Santa María La Antigua
Abstract
La comprensión lectora por su naturaleza transversal es de suma importancia en
los procesos de enseñanza – aprendizaje, ya que se interrelaciona con las demás
áreas académicas e influye positiva o negativamente en las misma. Involucra una
serie de procesos cognitivos y psicolingüísticos que lleva a cabo el lector para
interpretar el texto, en el cual participan también sus experiencias previas para
comprender la información plasmada e integrar los nuevos conocimientos; a
través de la decodificación lectora y el acceso al léxico. De tal moda que, la
comprensión lectora, al igual que el lenguaje oral, es considerada una de las
habilidades esenciales para acceder a toda la información y generar nuevos
conocimientos. Sin embargo, al estar relacionada con la decodificación de texto,
se le ha desvinculado del lenguaje oral; generando la concepción errónea de que
la comprensión de textos no está relacionada con el lenguaje oral.
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como propósito conocer la relación entre
el desarrollo del lenguaje oral y la comprensión lectora que presentan los alumnos
de tercero y sexto grado del Instituto Bilingüe Santa María La Antigua, para
determinar la relación que existe entre los componentes del lenguaje oral y los
niveles de comprensión lectora registrados en los alumnos evaluados, a través de
la aplicación de pruebas estandarizadas. Es un estudio de investigación no
experimental de tipo descriptivo correlacional, mediante la observación,
evaluación y el análisis de las características o nivel de comprensión lectora que
presentan los estudiantes de tercero y sexto grado de primaria, en función al
desarrollo del lenguaje oral.
